This has been a tradition of ours for 25 years. We serve it on Sunday morning of General Conference. Even my grown, adult children, are carrying on the tradition now. It has also extended to my sister and sisters-in-law! You can really be creative if you want, adding spinach, green onions, etc. if you like but my family was so young when we started this that they just like it 'plain'.
Serve with Orange Biscuits (recipe follows) and cut up fresh fruit with orange, apple, grape juice. De-lish!
Enjoy!
HAM, CHEESE, AND POTATO QUICHE
24 oz. frozen, shredded hash browns
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup diced ham (you can also use cooked link sausage, or cooked, crumbled bacon)
1/2 cup cream
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
Thaw potatoes and mix with melted butter or margarine. Fit into a 9 or 10 inch pie plate or a 7 X 11 inch pan, on the bottom and up the sides. Bake at
425* for 25 minutes. Remove from oven.
Fill partially baked crust with 1/2 of the diced ham, and 1/2 of the Swiss and Cheddar cheeses. Repeat for another layer.
Mix eggs, cream, and salt together. Pour over the ham and cheese. Return to oven and bake an additional 30-40 minutes or until knife comes out clean. (Start checking at 25-30 minutes, depending on oven.)
Remove and let sit for a few minutes to rest. Serves 6-8.
ORANGE BISCUITS
2 tubes refrigerated small biscuits
1 cube butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1 orange rind, grated (or 1 tbsp. orange peel spice)
Fit biscuits in a 9" ungreased cake pan, overlapping slightly.
Combine butter or margarine, sugar, and orange rind together. Pour over unbaked biscuits. Bake at 400* until golden brown about 15-20 minutes.
(This is also a good recipe to make camping in a dutch oven!)

I'm going to DO THESE - they sound so good and we'll have Cameron from out of town visiting. It'll be D-LICIOUS. Thanks Cindy-lou-lou!
You're welcome. I hope your family loves it as much as mine. This is also good for a summer dinner with a nice green salad. Gotta love when the family can be together for the weekend. LOVE YOU!
