I am always on the lookout for high protein, low calorie meals. I have found it very hard to get enough protein in my diet since I am not a huge meat fan. I had an idea to get more protein out of vegiterian pasta and I just tried it out tonight. I loved it!!! I tried the Barilla Plus pasta that was mentioned in an earlier post. It was super good! Plus, I just added a scoop of cottage cheese to my pasta and mixed it all together. Mmmm... good!1/2 c. Newmans Own Marinara Sauce (All Natural)
2 oz. Barilla Plus Angel Hair Pasta
1/4 c. Chopped red, green, and yellow peppers
1/2 c. Steamed Squash
1/2 c. Steamed Brocolli
1/2 c. Low Fat Cottage Cheese
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION: 383 Calories, 4 grams Fat, 59 Carbs, 28 grams Protein

I am amazed at how conscious you are of your diet now. You look like you are doing exceptionally well at putting together a super healthy meal! Great idea with the cottage cheese. Probably mimics lasagna a little with that addition. I will try that!
Oh, and we don't get to have a little parmesan cheese on top????
